Teams, brand kits and account
Invite your team and choose roles
Invite people, understand what each role can do, how seats work, and how agencies run client workspaces.
Updated
A workspace holds your videos, clips, brand kits, connected accounts and plan. You can invite people into it and give each one a role that decides what they can do. Manage this on the Team page at /app/settings/team.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing, deleting the workspace and handing it over. |
| Admin | Everything except deleting or handing over the workspace. |
| Editor | Uploads videos, edits and exports clips, posts, and manages brand kits and links. |
| Viewer | Sees videos, clips, posts and analytics. Can't change anything. |
| Client | Sees this workspace and approves or skips Autopilot posts. No billing or settings. |
A few things only owners and admins can do: invite and remove people, connect social accounts, change Autopilot's settings, create API keys and webhooks, manage billing, see the audit log, and set up single sign-on.
Invite someone
Owners and admins see Invite people on the Team page.
- Enter their email address and pick a role.
- Press Send invite.
They get an email from hello@reeltopus.com with a link that works once, for 7 days, and only for that address. They sign in with that address and press Accept and join. Pending invites are listed with their expiry date; press Cancel invite to withdraw one. Inviting the same address again replaces the old link.
You can only give out roles up to your own. Admins can't change or remove owners.
Seats
People with the owner, admin, editor or viewer role each take a seat. Clients don't take a seat, so you can add as many clients as you need. Pending invites count toward your seats.
| Plan | Seats |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Creator | 1 |
| Pro | 2 |
| Agency | 3 |
The Team page shows how many seats you're using. When they're all used, upgrade on the Billing page for more.
Change a role or remove someone
Next to each member, owners and admins can pick a new role or press Remove. When a role changes or someone is removed, any API keys and connected apps their new role can't hold stop working at once.
To hand the workspace over, the owner presses Make owner next to another member. The current owner stays on as an admin.
To leave a workspace yourself, press Leave this workspace. You'll need a new invite to come back.
Client workspaces (Agency plan)
On the Agency plan, you can run a separate workspace for each client, up to 50. Each has its own videos, brand kit and connected accounts.
- On the Team page, under Client workspaces, enter the client's name and press Create.
- Switch to it, then invite your client with the Client role. They see their own workspace and approve Autopilot posts.
Client workspaces use the agency's plan and hours. Seats are counted once across the agency and all its client workspaces, so a teammate who works in several only takes one seat. The agency's owners and admins are added to each client workspace with the same role.
Switch workspaces
If you belong to more than one workspace, pick the one you want from the workspace menu in the header. Agencies are listed first, each followed by its client workspaces. On the Team page you can also press Switch to it next to a client workspace.
