Zapier, Make and n8n
Use Reeltopus from Zapier, Make and n8n: start clips from a video link, export and post them, and run automations when clips are ready, exports finish and posts go live or fail.
All three connect with a workspace API key from Settings → API (owners and admins can create keys). They use the same API and webhooks as everything else, so they spend hours and respect roles exactly as the app does.
Availability: the apps are built and tested but not listed on the platforms yet. Until they are, every platform can call the API directly with its HTTP module and an Authorization: Bearer rt_live_… header, and receive webhooks with its webhook trigger.

Zapier
- Triggers are instant: each one creates a Reeltopus webhook for the Zap and removes it when the Zap is turned off or deleted. Deliveries are checked against the webhook's signing secret.
- Clips Ready carries the best clip and the top 10, so a Zap can go straight to Export Clip with the best one.
- Zapier's retries never create a second project, export or post: writes carry an idempotency key.
Make
- Instant triggers on Reeltopus webhooks, and a Make an API Call module for every other endpoint.
- List Clips returns one bundle per clip, best first, ready for an iterator or a filter on score.
n8n
- A community node package,
n8n-nodes-reeltopus, with a Reeltopus node and a Reeltopus Trigger node. Self-hosted n8n installs it from Settings → Community Nodes. - The node can upload a video file from a previous step (binary data), and wait for clips or an export before going on. The trigger verifies every delivery's signature.
- The node is usable as a tool by n8n's AI agents.
Hours, limits and errors
- Starting a project holds hours for the video's length and refunds them if processing fails. Exports and posts are free.
- Calls count against the key's rate limit. Each platform shows the API's own error message, with the request id to quote to support@reeltopus.com.
